Position Summary The Mathematics Teacher will guide students in the disciplined study of mathematical principles. Instruction emphasizes conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, and the development of logical reasoning. Students develop the ability to analyze problems, apply mathematical methods, and understand the underlying structure and order of mathematics. The teacher provides clear instruction, structured practice, and guided problem solving while fostering intellectual perseverance and confidence. This role requires delivering rigorous instruction in a virtual classroom environment while maintaining strong academic expectations and supportive communication with students and families. Please note – while this is an online school position and all instruction occurs virtually, travel and face to face attendance will be required several times per year to support in person state testing and student events.
