This transition requires a Vice President of Finance who can guide not only financial performance, but also how the business operates to support growth while staying grounded in our values. In this role, the Vice President of Finance will: - Partner with the CEO to evaluate strategic opportunities and business tradeoffs. - Align financial strategy with company values, vision, and operational realities. - Work with the leadership team to drive revenue, operational efficiency, and other strategic initiatives. - Drive clarity, accountability, and sound decision-making across the organization. - Mentor and develop the Finance and Accounting team. This is a highly visible role for a leader who can operate effectively at both the executive level and in operational details. #### Key Responsibilities - Own all aspects of financial management, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow. - Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for finance-related matters across the organization, including executive leadership. - Oversee all financial operations for JourneyTeam, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong fiscal stewardship. - Help set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for JourneyTeam’s growth and efficiency. - Provide clear, data-driven perspectives and risk assessments to translate vision into practical financial and operational plans. - Establish a culture of financial accountability and ROI-driven decision-making. - Hold leaders accountable for forecast accuracy, gross margin, operational efficiency, and operating margin. - Drive financial clarity and alignment across departments. - Ensure accurate revenue recognition for professional services and recurring revenue streams. - Maintain strong financial discipline across invoicing, credits, expenses, payroll, compensation plans, and other financial operations. - Mentor and teach accounting principles and financial skills to the Finance and Accounting team. - Lead by example while living our core values. - Work with the CRO and CMO to define and enforce pricing and compensation strategies that drive healthy revenue growth. - Identify and eliminate sales a…
