Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Vice President, Enterprise Data & Technology to define and own Nexus’s enterprise data strategy, AI enablement, and technology direction. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this role sets the vision for the company’s data architecture, warehouse, and platform investments, and translates that vision into a multi-year roadmap prioritized against business value. The role also carries broad ownership of the company’s data governance, security posture, and IT oversight — setting standards and direction, whether executed directly or through specialists and vendors. The ideal candidate combines strong command of modern BI, analytics, and cloud data platforms with the judgment to prioritize initiatives, the leadership skill to build a high-performing team, and the ability to translate business needs into technical strategy for executive leadership. AI & Agent Enablement - Deploy, run, and manage AI agents within the team’s and the company’s workflows. - Teach and upskill the team on effective, responsible use of AI agents, establishing best practices, guardrails, and compliance strategy. - Own the company’s AI and automation strategy, identify high-value use cases across the business, and drive their adoption. Data Architecture & Applications - Own the enterprise data architecture direction and standards as part of the company-wide data strategy, setting execution priorities for the broader data team. - Guide decisions on platform, tooling, software, and infrastructure to ensure scalability and long-term fit. - Ensure the company’s data foundation can support analytics, AI, and future growth.
