Quartet Veterinary Specialty Hospital in Cary, NC , is seeking experienced Veterinary Technicians to join its new Oncology service. In this role, you will help launch and grow the service during an exciting period of expansion, with the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the team, hospital culture, and community. Key Responsibilities: Support the daily operations of the oncology service in collaboration with the oncologist. Assist with cancer staging, diagnostics, and treatment planning. Administer chemotherapy and monitor patient responses. Safely handle, prepare, and dispose of cytotoxic medications according to safety protocols. Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and medication calculations. Communicate effectively with clients and team members. Foster a positive, collaborative hospital culture. Schedule: This is a full-time position Four 10-hour shifts per week. No weekends and no holidays. Why Quartet? SIGN ON BONUS UP TO $4000 FOR CREDENTIALED TECHNICIANS Qualifications: Credentialed veterinary technician (LVT, RVT, CVT) with previous veterinary oncology experience highly preferred. Values the importance of accountability, always acts in the best interest of the patient, and assumes positive intent when interacting with others. Fear Free Certification and RECOVER Certification preferred. Experience with EzyVet and Smartflow is a plus!
