**Veterinary Oncology Technician** Welcome to **Animal Emergency & Specialty Center (AESC)**! We are a 24/7 Emergency Care Veterinary Hospital with 7 different Specialties. The **AESC** Team is growing, and we are seeking motivated, positive and compassionate individuals to join our team. We are seeking a dedicated **Oncology Technician** to support our Oncologist in delivering precise, compassionate, and efficient patient care. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring seamless patient flow while performing a wide range of advanced clinical duties, including radiographs, laboratory diagnostics, and the safe administration of chemotherapy. This position calls for a detail-oriented professional with strong technical skills and a deep commitment to empathetic client communication—whether in person, over the phone, or electronically. You will also be responsible for maintaining thorough, accurate, and timely medical records within the hospital’s PIMS and Whiteboard systems, helping ensure the highest standards of continuity and quality of care. **\*\*WE ARE OFFERING A $3,000 SIGNING BONUS FOR THIS ROLE!\*\*** **\*\*\*$1,500 RELOCATION BONUS MAY APPLY FOR HIGHLY QUALIFIED REGISTERED TECHNICIANS RELOCATING WITHIN THE PARKER COLORADO AREA!\*\*\*** **Compensation:** - **$25 - $35** hourly, based on experience - **++$$ SIGN ON BONUS!!!** **Anticipated Schedule:** - **Full Time** - **Shift: TBD** **Key Areas of Responsibility:** - Facilitate the doctors schedule to align with patient care needs. - Timely, thorough and accurate patient care client interactions including collecting history for appointments and medication management and refills. - Ensuring a smooth and excellent client experience through communication, schedule management, and answering questions/concerns. - Perform lab work, radiographs, and sample submissions - Perform general anesthesia and sedation monitoring for procedures - Appropriately handle chemotherapy medications per hospital standards - Proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture skills - Administer chemotherapy treatments as directed by Oncologist - Maintains hospital cleanliness by performing general cleaning duties: Laundry, sweeping, mopping, etc. - Other duties as needed **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** - *High school diploma or equivalent.* - *At least 1 year of Veterinary Technician experience required in a surgical setting* - ***Registered Veterinary Technician,*** *in Colorado, or the ability to become registered upon hire.* - ***Fluent English skills (speaking & reading****) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus!* **Preferred Qualifications:** - At least 2 years of Veterinary Technician experience in a Specialty Hospital - Experience with performing anesthesia - Ability to multitask and anticipate the department's needs. - Excellent communication. - Experience using Medical Record and Whiteboard programs in a veterinary setting. **Benefits** We’re committed to supporting our team’s well-being and professional growth with a comprehensive benefits package that includes: - **Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance** to keep you and your family covered. - **401(k) with Matching** to help you plan for your future. - **Employee Assistance Program (EAP)** for additional personal and professional support. - **Continuing Education (CE)**: - Annual CE hours to advance your skills. - CE allowance for training and certifications. - **Uniform Allowance** to ensure you’re always prepared. - **Shift Differential Pay** for added compensation. - Generous paid time off, including: - **Sick Days** - **Vacation Days** - **Bereavement Leave** - **Holiday Premium** Pay for working during special time…
