Veterinary Medical Field Officer - Region 5

As a Veterinary Medical Field Officer, you will perform the following duties: - **Facility Inspections:** Inspect regulated entities, verify compliance, and document required findings - **Disease Investigations:** Conduct investigations of dangerous transmissible diseases and enforce appropriate quarantines - **Sample Collection:** Collect and submit biological samples following proper diagnostic and biosecurity procedures - **Community Outreach:** Provide education to producers, veterinarians, and the public on disease prevention and regulatory requirements - **Emergency Response:** Support incident management activities including disease control and depopulation when required - **Staff Supervision:** Guide and support Domestic Animal Health Inspectors to ensure consistent regional program performance Interested in learning more? You will be expected to travel in the field for this position. - This position is home headquartered. In order to be home headquartered, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. - **Salary:** The Veterinary Medical Field Officer Position is a challenging and exciting position that comes with a base salary that is negotiable up to $136,842.00.
