Responsibilities include: - Greet clients and patients with professionalism and compassion - Check patients in and out for appointments - Schedule appointments and recheck visits - Coordinate front desk operations and support hospital workflow - Assist families through the euthanasia paperwork process with empathy and sensitivity - Discuss payment options and process client transactions - Process daily estimates and financial reports - Prepare schedules, maintain medical records, file documents, and complete administrative tasks - Answer incoming phone calls and direct urgent calls to the appropriate clinical team - Coordinate communication between clients, doctors, and veterinary staff - Support student training and mentorship opportunities as needed - Maintain a positive, organized, and client-focused environment * * * # What We're Looking For ### Minimum Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent - Minimum **1 year of customer service experience** - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities - Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment - Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team - Fluent in spoken and written English ### Preferred Qualifications - Previous experience as a **Veterinary Client Service Representative**, **Veterinary Receptionist**, or Client Service Representative in a veterinary hospital - Experience in an emergency or specialty veterinary hospital - Knowledge of veterinary terminology and hospital workflows * * * # About Red Bank Veterinary Hospital For more than 40 years, Red Bank Veterinary Hospital has been a trusted provider of emergency and specialty veterinary care throughout New Jersey.
