Our team is happy-go-lucky, supportive and **always ready to help each other out.** We believe in **work-life balance, flexibility, and teamwork!** **What You'll Be Doing:** As a **Veterinary Assistant**, your duties will include: - Assisting veterinarians and Technicians during patient exams, treatments, and surgeries. - Administering medications, vaccinations, and therapeutic treatments. - Performing diagnostic tests, including radiography, bloodwork, and urinalysis. - Monitoring anesthesia and providing post-operative care. - Conducting dental cleanings and using digital dental radiography. - Educating clients on preventive care, treatment plans, and post-care instructions. - Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring a clean, organized clinic environment. **Qualifications:** - **Experience:** At least 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Assistant - **Skills:** Strong diagnostic, technical, and communication abilities. - **Mindset:** A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for patient care. - **Physical Ability:** Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods. - Must be available some Saturdays **Compensation, Perks & More:** - **$15 - $20/hr - depending on experience!** - **Work-Life Balance:** Flexible scheduling and generous paid time off. - **Professional Growth:** Opportunities for continuing education, mentorship, and skill development. - **Supportive Team:** Join a collaborative, welcoming group dedicated to patient and client care. - Full-Time: PTO, 401(k) and Health, vision, and dental insurance.
