If you're looking to grow your skills while helping deliver lifesaving care in a cutting-edge environment, you'll find an exceptional career at Avets. **In Your Day-to-Day, You Will:** - Support veterinarians and veterinary technicians in delivering exceptional patient care. - Safely restrain and handle patients during examinations, treatments, and procedures. - Collect and process laboratory samples while assisting with diagnostic testing. - Walk, monitor, and provide basic husbandry care for hospitalized patients. - Clean and disinfect treatment areas, kennels, and equipment to maintain a safe, sanitary hospital environment. - Restock medical supplies and treatment areas to ensure the hospital is always prepared for patient care. - Assist with patient transport and provide support wherever needed throughout the hospital. - Collaborate with a compassionate, team-oriented group dedicated to providing outstanding care for pets and their families. **What Your Bring** - At least 1 year of experience safely restraining animals in a veterinary, shelter, or animal care setting (experience with personal pets does not qualify). - The ability to remain calm, adaptable, and efficient in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. - A positive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to fostering a respectful and collaborative workplace. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with clients with empathy and compassion. - The ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift at least 25 pounds throughout a 10-hour shift. - Fluent English speaking and reading skills are required; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus. - A passion for providing exceptional care to patients while supporting your teammates and delivering an outstanding client experience. **Perks & Benefits:** - Medical, Dental and Vision insurance -Multiple health plan options so that you can choose something that suits your needs best. - FSA//HSA - 401(k) +company match - Employee assistance program - Employee pet benefit discount program - PTO and uniforms - Professional development assistance - Hands on learning as well as opportunities for credentialing - Onsite continuing education events as well as virtual learning platforms - We take extra care of our team by providing a stocked breakroom!
