Vegetable Prep Helper

We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic Vegetable Prep Helper to join our growing Miami, FL Team! Responsibilities: Wash, peel, chop, and dice vegetables using knives or peeling machines, ensuring consistency and accuracy in cuts. Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and tools at all times. Follow all food safety and hygiene standards as outlined in the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) handbook. Report any issues related to food safety to the manager or hygiene and food safety team. Check food quality and doneness through smell, piercing, or tasting, as instructed. Contribute to a cooperative and friendly work environment. Support inventory efforts by noting low stock levels and reporting to the supervisor. Help minimize food wastage through proper food handling and preparation. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role in food production or kitchen environment. Familiarity with various vegetable cutting styles. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks during 8-hour shifts. Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling as required. Comfortable working in both hot and cold environments. Service-oriented with a collaborative and team-focused mindset. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus. Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. What We Offer: Pay rate: $17.45 hourly. Daily Complimentary Meals (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner).
