Built by students, for students. ## What You Will Do - **Teach –** You’ll deliver clear, structured VCE English Language lessons (mainstream, Language, or Literature) that build conceptual understanding and essay technique. - **Coach –** Motivate students to engage with content, practice deliberately, and improve week-to-week. - **Mentor –** Share study strategies and relatable stories to build student confidence. - **Connect –** Build genuine connections with students. You're relatable, making it easy to relate and inspire. ## What You Will Bring - **99+ ATAR and 45+ raw study score in VCE English** **Language (non-negotiable)** - First-year university level knowledge or above in English, Arts, or related Humanities - Tutoring experience in VCE English Language (favourable) - Academic Awards in English Language (favourable) - Past VCE Graduate (students learn best from those who once were in their shoes!) - Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts - Energy, empathy, independence, and a proactive mindset - Honesty, Integrity, and a genuine Passion for Teaching - A full academic year commitment (e.g. no overseas exchange trips for 8 weeks) - Ability to commit to weekly classes with minimum 10+ hours availability per week (e.g. can't constantly reschedule or miss classes) - Travel to our Campuses (Point Cook and CBD) - Alignment with Contour’s mission, (non-compete agreement required) - A genuine desire to motivate student…
