As a part-time Van Driver, you will perform the following duties: - **Safe Transportation:** Drive county vehicles an average of 150 miles each day while ensuring passenger comfort - **Consumer Assistance:** Help senior adults and wheelchair dependent persons with boarding and exiting in various conditions - **Communication Skills:** Communicate clearly with consumers and staff through person to person interaction and two way radio - **Schedule Adaptation:** Adjust to daily route changes and maintain flexibility in service needs - **Social Support:** Provide friendly interaction and positive social contact throughout the day **Work Schedule and Additional Information:** - Part-time employment, approximately 14-21+ hours per week - Transportation operates 4:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Friday with limited hours on Saturday - **Telework:** You will not have the option to telework in this position. - **Salary:** In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. - You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.
