Exempt **Schedule** 1st Shift (Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) On-site Weekend, holiday, and/or other hours will be required at times Must be willing to work other shifts when necessary **Location** 272 Patton Farm Road, Stuarts Draft VA 24477 **Job Summary** McKee Foods is seeking a 1st Shift Utilities/Waste Treatment Maintenance Supervisor to join our Maintenance team. - Provide leadership and support for all dimensions of the Utilities and Waste Treatment operations - Develop written operating procedures for Utilities and Waste Treatment processes regulatory requirements - Ensure that predictive and preventative maintenance programs are developed, monitored, and improved - Lead implementation of Lean Principles - Monitor, analyze and use new technologies/ideas to reduce energy costs/use (water, steam, electricity, compressed air and other utilities identified) - Support and implement Manufacturing to a Standard - Assist engineering and engineering consultants with system upgrades and operations - Maintain and oversee Maintenance contracts and contractors - Support environmental compliance through effective management of work practices and procedures that meet regulatory standards - Ensure compliance within discharge parameters at Waste Treatment - Provide technical training and assistance to the workforce - Attend training classes / seminars as required - Parts department management - Other duties as assigned **Required Qualifications** - Demonstrates good written and verbal communication skills - Strong mechanical aptitude - Excellent delegation and human relations skills - Demonstrated leadership ability in present position - Willingness to follow and enforce strict performance, process standards, and procedures - Good organizational and planning skills - Ability to handle difficult situations professionally - Availability to travel when needed - Commitment to McKee Foods Corporation’s Guiding Values - Please upload your current resume to be fully considered for this position **Preferred Qualifications** - Previous supervisory and/or management experience - Minimum of 3 years industrial maintenance experience - Mechanical background in various types of waste water, steam boiler, air handler and process chiller equipment - Preventive maintenance experience - Industrial electrical knowledge - Computer skills - Production maintenance experience - Planning and scheduling with CMMS software - Waste Water training - Steam/Hot Water Boiler Safety training - FDA(CFR21) and cGMP(current good manufacturing practices) experience **Benefits** - Competitive weekly pay - Profit-sharing cash bonus program - 401(k) with matching contributions - 25 days Paid Time Off (for vacation, holidays, sick time, personal time, etc.) - Medical insurance, including health, dental, vision and prescription drug plan - Supplemental plans, including life insurance - Fully-paid parental leave - Health Center and Pharmacy - Mental wellness counseling (on-site in TN, virtual elsewhere) - Tuition reimbursement - Credit Union - Exercise and recreation facility - Wellness programs with incentives - Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - Short-term and long-term disability benefits (company-paid) We are an Equal Opportunity Employer
