To learn more about the Superior Court of California, County of Orange, visit our homepage at http://www.occourts.org. **ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT AND POSITION** The Court Technology Services (CTS) department is responsible for providing the court with proactive leadership by implementing and maintaining the court’s network infrastructure, core business and departmental applications, as well as ensuring the security of the court’s data and processes. CTS works with court leaders, judicial committees, the State Judicial Council staff, justice agencies, court departments, vendors, and others to ensure the Court is fully supported by the appropriate levels of technology services. The User Support Technician performs journey-level workstation and end-user support functions. The incumbent diagnoses and resolves problem calls while researching, installing, troubleshooting, configuring, and testing computer hardware, software, and peripheral equipment at any justice center throughout Orange County. The incumbent is expected to demonstrate a strong customer service orientation and skills and work effectively with court managers, staff, vendors, and Judicial Officers. The User Support Technician typically works under the supervision of the User Support Supervisor or the lead support of the Senior User Support Technician. Work is typically assigned in terms of general objectives or support areas of responsibility.
