As part of Walmart Global Tech’s Enterprise Business Systems, the team collaborates closely with product, business, and UX partners to deliver measurable business value. Emphasizing scalable, secure, and maintainable software design, the team drives continuous improvement and operational excellence to support Walmart’s mission of helping customers save money and live better. **What you'll do:** - Lead platform-level execution of software and AI/ML systems, ensuring alignment with domain priorities and roadmap milestones. - Oversee shared infrastructure, tooling, and frameworks to support scalable, secure, and reusable development. - Drive full software development lifecycle across multiple teams, promoting DevOps practices and continuous improvement. - Manage cloud cost optimization and enhance automation, telemetry, and tooling to reduce operational friction. - Mentor engineers, guide architectural decisions, and uphold technical quality and compliance standards. - Collaborate with stakeholders to define priorities, track milestones, and ensure timely delivery of complex initiatives. - Foster innovation by identifying opportunities to improve processes, tools, and products continuously. **What you'll bring:** - Extensive experience leading platform engineering initiatives, including software and AI/ML system development aligned with strategic roadmaps. - Proven expertise in managing full software development lifecycle, emphasizing DevOps architecture, CI/CD, and cloud cost optimization. - Strong technical judgment with the ability to guide architectural decisions ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance. - Demonstrated success in stakeholder management, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver complex technical projects on time. - Proficiency in project management, milestone tracking, and capacity planning to drive operational excellence. - Commitment to mentoring engineers and fostering continuous improvement through coaching and knowledge sharing.
