Join us and help change the future of healthcare for the better. **About the role** - **Medical Assistant – Fast Pace Urgent Care** **Position Summary:** Fast Pace Urgent Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support providers in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Welcome and prepare patients for examinations and procedures. - Record vital signs, medical histories, and patient information. - Assist providers with exams, treatments, and minor procedures. - Perform basic laboratory testing, specimen collection, and administer injections as directed. - Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR). - Clean, stock, and prepare exam rooms while following infection control guidelines. - Provide excellent customer service and patient education. - Support front office duties as needed, including scheduling and verifying patient information. **Qualifications** - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Medical Assistant certification required. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. - Phlebotomy skills required. - Occupational health experience preferred. - Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced urgent care environment. - Comfortable with and able to understand and follow written, verbal, and email communications. - Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
