Notre Dame Preparatory School (NDP), a Catholic, independent, college preparatory school for girls in grades 6 - 12 located in Towson, Maryland, seeks a full-time Social Studies teacher for the 2026 - 2027 school year for the Upper Level (Grades 9 – 12). This position involves teaching five sections of 9^th^ grade United States Government. These courses emphasize analytical writing, source-based inquiry, and discussion-centered instruction. The ideal candidate will be committed to developing students’ historical thinking skills, including argumentation, use of evidence, and critical analysis, while fostering an engaging and inclusive classroom environment. Candidates should be eager to collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and contribute to a dynamic and supportive department. Dates for the 10-month position are August 16^th^ to June 15^th^(as well as attending new employee orientation August 17, 18 & 19, 2026). Annual reporting dates based on school calendar.
