We're looking for a detail-oriented Upholstery Technician to join our manufacturing team and help build high-quality soft seating products that inspire learning. **No upholstery experience? No problem.** We're looking for people with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. If you enjoy building, creating, crafting, woodworking, sewing, or working with your hands, we'll teach you the technical skills needed to succeed. **In this role, you'll:** - Sew fabric panels and upholstery patterns using industrial sewing equipment - Cut and prepare fabric utilizing templates while minimizing material waste - Wrap foam cores and cushion components with precision and consistency - Assemble upholstered frames and components according to work order specifications - Complete final finishing steps including stapling, trimming, wrapping, and tacking - Inspect products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure quality standards are met - Identify and communicate quality concerns before products move to the next production stage - Complete production documentation using both printed and digital work orders - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area - Perform basic equipment maintenance and follow all safety procedures - Support other areas within the Value Center as production needs change **Qualified candidates will have:** - High school diploma or equivalent - Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work - Ability to perform precise handwork in tight spaces - Ability to read and follow work orders and production instructions - Experience with fabric handling, sewing, or stitch techniques is helpful, but **not** **required**.
