**Purpose of Position** The Universal Banker will work directly with our customers to meet their needs and support all products and services in our retail and commercial lines of business while projecting a professional and welcoming image with maintaining operational control when delivering amazing service to customers **Essential Responsibilities:** - Responsible for providing accurate and high-quality customer service in all aspects of conducting financial transactions for customers, including cashing checks, accepting deposits, selling monetary instruments, and maintaining account records. - Balancing daily transactions, verifying cash totals; is constantly aware of and monitors all account transactions for suspicious activity and assists in balancing. - Customer service and problem solving in all aspects of teller operations needed. - Responsible for selling a full range of retail deposit products and banking services to customers and prospective customers. - Maintains a portfolio of existing customers for cross selling of bank services. - Follows all Bank policies, procedures and compliance regulations. **Preferred Education, Experience, Technical Knowledge and Skills:** - High School diploma or equivalent. - A college degree is preferred. - Bank experience preferred. - Must have at least six months to one year cash handling experience. - Additionally, usually 2 years of sales or service experience.
