The Supervisor of Prototype Metal Fabrication is a critical leadership role responsible for safely directing a team of skilled trades Metal Model Makers who fabricate prototype parts and assemblies for Ford Engineering. This position demands a dynamic leader with a strong background in prototype metal fabrication, manufacturing operations, and team leadership. The Supervisor is responsible for driving performance across all key metrics, fostering strong relationships with engineering customers and stakeholders, and ensuring a positive, productive, and customer-focused work environment. - Cross-Functional Prototype & Fabrication Management: Partner closely with engineering teams and skilled metal model makers to co-develop high-quality prototype parts, overseeing the end-to-end fabrication process.
