Duties include patient scheduling, telephones, charges, transcription and to facilitate the communication between staff members. The role also performs other department support activities as assigned. **Unit Secretary Qualifications:** - High School diploma or equivalent required. - Adequate verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams - Strong organizational skills - Proficiency in computer software - Able to multitask efficiently - 1-2 years of clinical experience, particularly in an acute care setting preferred. - Proficiency in electronic documentation preferred **Benefits & Perks: your health and happiness matters!
