We take a vested interest in each employee on our team and are constantly looking for motivated individuals to grow with our company. **Achieve your potential with ArborWorks!** ## Position Summary The Traffic Control Technician performs full-scope traffic control operations in compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. *Applicants will be considered based on the below groups:* *GROUP 1 All applicants for employment who are residents of the geographical area constituting the normal construction labor market. In addition, the applicants have completed the Traffic Control Certification Program, have 12 months / 2,000 hours experience as a Traffic Technician Trainee 2, and completed all required training or have worked twelve (12) months at the Traffic Control Technician classification.* *GROUP II All applicants for employment who have two or more years' experience in the trade and have passed a Traffic Control apprenticeship program or been certified as a Joumey-Level Traftic Control Technician.* **Job Location(s):** - Sacramento, CA and surrouding areas - Stockton, CA and surrounding areas - Oakhurst/Mariposa, CA and surrounding areas - Fresno, CA and surrounding areas - Kern County ## Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Direct and manage traffic - Set up and oversee traffic control plans - Supervise trainees and helpers ## Training & Certification Requirements - Traffic Control Technician certification ## Experience Requirements - Minimum of two (2) years of traffic control experience or completion of certification program ## Equal Employment Opportunity We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic in accordance with applicable law. ## ADA Statement Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). ## Physical Demands & Work Environment Employees must be able to stand for extended periods, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, lift and move traffic control equipment, and remain alert while working around moving vehicles and heavy equipment.
