Uniform Attendant

**SUMMARY:** Responsible to maintain and issue uniforms to employees in accordance with established standards. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following: - Scans and loads clean uniforms to the “auto load” rail. - Assists in inventory control to ensure uniforms are available. - Issues uniforms to new hires, including processing new hire paperwork. - Washes, dries, presses, and spot cleans uniforms as necessary. - Prepares uniform barcode labels. - Scans out dirty dry cleaning to designated cleaners and checks dirty laundry for damaged uniforms and difficult spots. - Performs monthly inventory audits on all uniforms. - Assists other staff members with general clerical and office duties as needed. - Keeps management informed of all issues and problems. Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests. **MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:** Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. **REASONING ABILITY:** Ability to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situations. **PHYSICAL DEMANDS:** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
