The report contains information on security policies as well as crime and fire statistics for the University. ## Description - Clinical supervision of the assigned group(s) of students in the clinical and/or simulation settings; - Creation of a positive and safe learning environment for students; - Prepare appropriate plans, materials, and learning activities for students to achieve the learning outcomes of the clinical course; - Observation of the students’ performance, the guidance of the students’ performance, to facilitate discussion, decision making, and problem-solving methods and nursing practices; - Consulting with students individually and/or in groups to: review and/or evaluate progression towards clinical outcomes and identify teaching strategies to reinforce learning, promote critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills. . - Maintain a cooperative, positive relationship with the staff on any unit of the healthcare facility assigned to facilitate the optimum learning environment for the students. - Maintain effective, on-going communication with the Course Coordinator (and/or Director of Nursing Programs if appropriate) concerning student progress and/or concerns. **Position Qualifications** We seek RNs with a Master’s Degree in Nursing and current clinical experience to teach undergraduate nursing students in practice settings and on-campus laboratory settings for the following clinical courses. - Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) (those enrolled in an MSN prog…
