Now Hiring: Unarmed Security Officers Location: Cedar Rapids Pay: $21.00/Hour Full Time opportunities available on all shifts, weekend availability required Employer: Marksman Security Corporation Hiring Immediately Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to: Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information. Enforce site rules by warning or reporting individuals violating regulations (e.g., loitering, smoking, carrying prohibited items). Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols to identify safety and security risks. Respond to alarms, emergency calls, and incidents involving unauthorized individuals, injuries, or fires. Notify appropriate emergency services (police, fire department, EMS) when necessary. Accurately complete and submit reports, records, and incident documentation in a timely manner. Perform other duties as assigned by the security manager. Required Qualifications of Security Officers: Must be at least 21 years of age. High School diploma or general education degree (GED) Able to acquire and maintain a valid Iowa Security License, including state accredited training requirements Valid Driver's License Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. Able to read, write, speak, and understand English Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers: • Bi-lingual considered a plus. • Weekend availability required Pay and Benefits of Security Officers: • Positions starting at $21.00 / hour depending on experience, location and position • Paid time off and paid holidays • Medical and Dental insurance • Opportunities for career growth and promotion • Skills-enhancing training EOE/M/F/D/V #IND2
