You will be a part of a team that strives to make a positive impact on our company culture as well as on the communities we serve. **Job Title:** Unarmed Security Guard **Pay Rate:** $16.90 - $17.00 **Location:** Indio, California **Job Shift:** Monday - Thursday: Day Shift (07:30 - 18:00) & Friday: Day Shift (07:00 - 17:30) **FLSA Status:** Full-Time, Non-Exempt **Job Overview** Absolute International Security is seeking highly professional security guards responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, visitors, and property. This role requires a customer-service focused demeanor, a neat and tidy appearance, along with the ability to perform regular patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and provide a visible security presence. **Key Responsibilities** - Act as a visible deterrent to prevent rule violations, unsafe behavior, or criminal activity - Perform thorough routine patrols of the assigned area including of public social services facility and surrounding parking lot - Monitor entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles - Control access points and maintain visitor/vendor logs - Observe and report suspicious activities, safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or policy violations - Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation - Communicate effectively over radio, phone, or in person with supervisors, dispatchers, and clients - Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and disturbances - Assist in evacuations and emergency procedures as required - Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed - Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance at all times - Maintain authorized less-than-letahal equipment in compliance with company standards - Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment for all - Follow post orders, site protocols, and all relevant company procedures **Minimum Qualifications** - Must be at least 18 years old - Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and additional client requirements - Strong verbal communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills - Ability to write clear and accurate reports - Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required - Comfortable working outdoors, including during varied weather conditions - Must have reliable transportation - Must be dependable, committed to ethical conduct, and acts with integrity - Must maintain a clean, professional appearance and adhere to company grooming and uniform standards **License & Certification Requirements** - Valid **California Guard Card** - Valid Government ID - CPR/First Aid/AED Certification **Additional Preferred Skills** - Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience - High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred - Security Guard Training Certificates preferred - De-escalation and conflict management skills **Additional Information / Benefits** - Weekly Pay - Premium Shift Pay for Holidays Worked - 401(k) Retirement Plan - Health / Dental / Vision Insurance - Paid Sick Leave - Training and Career Development - Employee Assistance Programs - Additional benefits, such as Paid Time Off (PTO), vary depending on position This position is **at-will**, and job duties/schedules may be adjusted based on client requirements or operational needs. **Absolute International Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer.** All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, Veteran statu…
