Preply’s brand is growing fast, and our need for high-impact, performance-driven content is scaling with it. We’re looking for a Brand UGC Editor to help us create scroll-stopping, social-first video assets that drive results across paid channels. You’ll edit engaging, performance-focused videos that feel native to platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts. If you’re fluent in social trends and are a pro at editing in a fast-paced, CapCut-style format, we’d love to hear from you. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING - Driving paid marketing productions with online content creators (UGC), in particular: - Brainstorming the ideas and giving feedback at the concepting and scriptwriting stage to set editing up for success, - Editing footage into final video assets in CapCut and handling feedback - Delivering ready assets to the Performance Team - Editing organic social media videos. - Sharing social media trends and ideas with the team. - Coaching other team members on best practices for editing for social. - Supporting the Social Media Team on brainstorming and producing organic content. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED - 2+ years of experience in video editing. - Experience editing performance-driven creator video content in CapCut and/or Premiere Pro. - Knowledge of key UGC ad metrics (e.g., hook rate, CTR, thumb-stop rate) and the creative levers to pull to improve them. - Comfortable using AI tools (auto-captioning, AI voiceover/translation, generative B-roll) to speed up your workflow. - Fast, reliable turnaround under paid-media deadlines, with a habit of proactively spotting and pitching trends rather than waiting for a brief. - Advanced English. Spanish, German, French, Italian, or Polish is a plus. - Good knowledge of online content creators and social media platforms and trends (TikTok and Instagram). - A team player who works proactively, is persistent, and solution-oriented. - Creative thinker with attention to detail and strong organizational skills. - Being a content creator yourself is a plus.
