Georgia Military College (GMC) Main Campus is seeking qualified candidates to serve as part-time tutors in the following subject areas: - Anatomy & Physiology - Biology - Chemistry - Physics - Computer Science - Mathematics - English - Political Science - History - Psychology - Criminal Justice - Sociology - SAT/ACT Test Preparation **Primary Responsibilities:** - Provide academic support to students through one-on-one, small-group, drop-in, appointment and classroom-based tutoring sessions. - Monitor employee GMC email on a weekly basis for tutoring assignments, updates, and communications. - Provide the Academic Support Manager with an updated availability schedule at the beginning of each academic quarter. - Promptly communicate any scheduling conflicts or changes at least 24 hours in advance. - Maintain accurate attendance records for all tutoring sessions. - Collaborate with course instructors, as needed, to obtain syllabi, course materials, or clarification regarding curriculum and course expectations. - Participate in all required tutor training and professional development sessions as directed by the Academic Support Manager. Meet with students on a one-to-one, small-group, or classroom tutoring format(s) to give learning assistance. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Experience tutoring college students and/or adult learners
