This role may require loading and unloading trailers with a forklift, as needed. Responsibilities include cleaning, servicing, and maintaining the truck, and performing minor maintenance as necessary. The driver operates under detailed instructions and reports any schedule changes or issues to the supervisor. **Responsibilities** - Safely drive company owned trucks - Move trailers, as directed by members of the management team - Perform daily housekeeping of the tractor - Maintain accurate inventory of all trailers and their locations - Grease landing gears and doors - Report defective equipment immediately to supervisor - Manage and maintain paperwork - Ensure environmental compliance, including spill containment - Raw material inventory - Run landing gear on trucks - Transport materials throughout the plant using a forklift - Perform additional duties as assigned by management **Education** - High School Diploma or GED **Experience** - 1-2 years of short trip driving **Required Licensure** - CDL, and forklift certification **Knowledge, Skills, Abilities** - Capability to drive trucks equipped with air brakes - Ability to communicate clearly and promptly - Accident-free driving record - Basic computer skills - Twisting, bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, and climbing will be done hourly **Essential Functions** - Regular and Reliable Attendance - Reading - Writing - Visual Acuity - Ascend/Descend Stairways and Platforms with Heights of up to 50+ feet - Standing for 12 hours - Walking - Bending - Twisting - Reaching - Pushing - Pulling - Lifting/Carrying up to 30 pounds (higher weights require a two-person lift) - Concentration
