We are currently searching for a **CDL Class A Truck Driver** for our Whitestown, IN location. As a **Class A CDL Truck Driver**, you can expect to safely transport products from our production facility to customer locations in a professional, and timely manner in coherence with promoting corporate vision, mission statement, and core values. Our drivers ensure that the customers’ orders are handled according to the Quality Policy. **What you need to be successful at Opus Packaging:** - Must be 21 years or older. - High school diploma or equivalent. - Must have a valid Class A CDL for interstate commerce. - Must have 2 full years of driving experience with a Class A CDL or equivalent military driving experience. - A satisfactory motor vehicle record. - Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. - Work safely and attend all safety training. **It would be great if you also have:** - 5-7 years of driving experience with a Class A CDL. **During a normal workday you can expect to:** - Process customer orders to achieve corporate goals. - Operate distribution services in compliance with procedures and standards. - Obtain cross-functional abilities within the manufacturing/shipping environment. - Maintain tractor and trailer vehicle inspections according to DOT regulations. - Coordinate production activities with purchasing, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment. **Benefits:** - Health, vision, dental insurance upon hire - Life insurance - Production Bonus opportunity - Paid time off - Paid holidays - Safety program bonus - Safety shoe reimbursement - 401(k) with employer contribution As part of the Opus team, you'll never be treated just like a number.
