**JOB DESCRIPTION** **Locación : QUERETARO** **Modo de Asistencia: PRESENCIAL** **Education** - **BSME, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience** **Experience** - **8+ years in automotive engineering** - **Strong trim engineering background** - **Proven success in launching soft trim programs (JIT, Cut & Sew)** - **Demonstrated leadership of engineering teams delivering measurable results** - **Expertise in engineering tools (DFMEA, Root Cause/8D, DVP, GD&T, etc.)** **Position Summary** **Provides front-line technical leadership and customer interface for assigned program(s), ensuring delivery of high-quality, cost-effective, and manufacturable trim products. Leads engineering teams to achieve on-time program milestones, first-time quality targets, and budget adherence, while strengthening team capability and customer satisfaction.** **Core member of the Simultaneous Development Team (SDT) with full accountability for engineering execution, technical decisions, and program performance outcomes.** **Core Responsibilities** - **Leads engineering team to achieve:** - **≥95% on-time engineering releases** - **First-time DV/PV pass rate ≥90%** - **Engineering changes reduction vs. prior programs** - **Acts as primary technical interface with customer, ensuring:** - **Timely closure of all technical issues and escalations** - **Alignment to customer specifications, performance, and cost targets** - **Owns engineering budget and resources to ensure:** - **Program execution within approved budget (±5%)** - **Optimal utilization of engineering resources** - **Drives a culture of robust design, accountability, and continuous improvement** **Develops team capability through coaching, mentoring, and structured development plans** **PRIMARY LOCATION** Tech Center Queretaro
