Why This Role Is Critical Our Banking product - a multi-currency business account for global companies with SEPA and cross-border SWIFT transfers, global payouts with Visa and Mastercard, and instant FX is rapidly growing, and we are looking for a person who will own the payments operations side. We're opening this role to take real ownership of payment operations - building the systems that let us handle 10x the volume without 10x the headcount. What You Will Own — Build and own the liquidity monitoring dashboard and alerting system, the first real-time view into our FX position and cash flow across banking rails — Map the flow of funds for new banking products before they launch, including card issuing, new payment rails connection, and more — Resolve client and partner-bank payment inquiries directly and by building automations to improve the time-to-resolution rate — Review and streamline existing payment operations processes as volume grows, cutting the manual work wherever you find it — Support new client onboarding on the banking side, from fee setup to first payment — Set up and tune fee configuration and transaction rules every time we launch a new payment method Our Ideal Candidate — 2+ years of hands-on experience with payments - as a Treasury Manager, Payments Manager, or in Payments Operations — Real working knowledge of how banking payments move (SWIFT, SEPA) - you've either sent payments yourself or configured payment automation for a company — English strong enough to communicate directly with partners and work with documentation — Comfortable being the person who owns ambiguous tasks and shapes them into deliverable projects and tasks, defines problems and builds the process for it, because a lot of this role doesn't have a playbook yet The Points That Make You Stand Out — Experience with card payment processing (Stripe or similar), even from a smaller company — B2B payments background — You've set up a process or reporting system from zero before - not just followed one someone else built Why This Role Is a Career Accelerator — You'll build services and processes that become core infrastructure for the whole Banking team - not a side project, a system people rely on — You'll get exposure to product work early: writing specs, mapping flows, and working directly with engineers — This role sits at the intersection of ops, treasury, and product - most people spend years pinned to just one of those.
