Treasury Operations Assistant Vice President - Insurance Payment Operations

POSITION OVERVIEW The Assistant Vice President will support a wide range of Treasury Operations functions for the insurance business. The successful candidate must manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment for multiple legal entities while supporting initiatives to enhance the existing functions to meet the rapidly changing needs of the business. • Manage and develop payment controls for daily processing and straight through processing. • Approve internal fundings and external payments to third parties • Expand connectivity between TMS and banking partners • Oversee third party servicers banking capabilities • Develop and maintain centralized processes to handle reporting initiatives including ad hoc requests • Participate in company-wide initiatives/projects to improve processes and infrastructure including workflow automation, liquidity reporting, and variance analysis • Prepare and present materials to Senior Management and external counterparties QUALIFICATIONS • Undergraduate degree required with a minimum of 7 years work experience in a Treasury or Financial Operations Role • Knowledge of treasury systems (i.e. Kyriba or other banking platforms) is required • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Visio • Proactively addresses issues that may impact outcome of initiatives • Prior experience implementing financial controls in compliance with SOX a strong plus • Prior experience with Tableau a strong plus • Prior experience in insurance industry a strong plus • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple responsibilities • Ability to identify, communicate, and resolve key issues • Positive attitude even when faced with difficult obstacles, issues or challenges • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Commercial mind set with an entrepreneurial spirit This is the expected annual base salary range for this Boston-based position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance. Base Salary Range $120,000 — $160,000 USD KKR is an equal opportunity employer.
