Position: Full-time Traveling Specialty Assistant (OS, ENDO, PERIO) For the dynamic professional who exudes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment, we are also seeking a Full-time Traveling Specialty Assistant. This role encompasses various specialties, including OS (Oral Surgery), ENDO (Endodontics), and PERIO (Periodontics). Compensation - Competitive Pay: $23-27 per hour (DOE) Benefits - Medical - Dental - Retirement Plan Responsibilities - Welcome patients to our dental office and ensure their comfort - Prepare patients for treatments or checkups - Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials as needed - Adhere to strict instrument sterilization protocols - Assist dentists through 4-handed dentistry - Perform lab tasks as instructed - Offer post-operative care instructions and oral hygiene guidance - Maintain a clean and well-stocked dental room - Schedule patient appointments - Keep precise patient records and assist with payment procedures Skills - Proficiency with dental instruments and sterilization techniques - In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations - Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks such as coronal polishing is a plus - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - High school diploma; graduation from a dental assistant school is preferred - Additional certifications or training, such as OSMA/OA, are considered assets Required Certifications - RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) Join the Gold Coast Dental team and embark on a journey of excellence in the field of dentistry.
