Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $2,309 to $2,488 per week - Guaranteed hours: 36 per week - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: Day Shift 8:00 AM–5:00 PM - Start date: 08/05/2026 - Setting: Acute care hospital environment; travel assignment Responsibilities - Organize and conduct occupation-based therapy programs to help patients improve daily living activities, mobility, and independence after injury or illness. - Deliver OT services in the acute care setting, incorporating outpatient hands-float to acute care as needed, and applying modality endorsements per MT guidelines. - Conduct initial assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and adjust interventions to meet patient goals and safety considerations. - Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, contribute to discharge planning, and educate patients and caregivers on ongoing home programs. - Consider patient gender, age, cultural differences, and educational needs in all evaluations and interventions. - Document clinical findings, treatment plans, progress, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory and facility standards.
