Overview Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-term care / skilled nursing Utica, New York Start date: 08/18/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Weekly pay: $1,381–$1,446 per week Guaranteed hours: 37.5 hours per week Shift: 8-hour evening shift, 2:30 PM–10:30 PM Facility type: Skilled nursing facility with LTC unit Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $1,381–$1,446 per week - Guaranteed hours: 37.5 hours per week - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 2:30 PM–10:30 PM (evening) - Start date: 08/18/2026 - Facility/work setting: Long-term care / skilled nursing, LTC unit Responsibilities - Provide direct nursing care to residents in an LTC unit, including routine assessments and monitoring. - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, documenting in the electronic medical record. - Monitor vital signs, respond to changes in condition, and escalate issues to the supervising licensed nurse. - Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement care plans and ensure resident safety and comfort. - Assist residents with activities of daily living and support memory care needs as appropriate. - Maintain infection control practices, ensure accurate documentation, and participate in unit handoffs and rounds. - Float within the same building as needed to support patient care coverage and staffing needs.
