Transporter (Part Time) - Transport 6013

**St. Mary's Medical Center** is seeking a Part Time **Transporter** under the direction of the Manager, Patient Transport/Customer Service or authorized designee, the Transporter will safely and efficiently transport patients throughout the Medical Center. **EDUCATION:** High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Successful completion of a nurse aide program preferred. **** **EXPERIENCE:** Nurse aide experience preferred but not required. Previous experience working with the public and or patients and their families helpful. **SKILLS:** Verbal ability required to communicate with patients and understand instructions received from nursing staff. Ability to lift patients and operate transport equipment. Good body mechanics. Have nimble hands and a pleasing voice. Should have the ability to remain calm even when working under pressure. **Maintains BLS certification.**
