This role conducts data collection and analysis, prepares reports and presentations, and utilizes GIS and other planning tools to support informed decision-making and system evaluation. Serving as the Mobility Service Planner for the City of Greeley Mobility Services, this position leads transit planning efforts including route and service design, schedule development, and continuous service improvement. The Planner evaluates system performance and develops service strategies that balance cost efficiency, customer experience, operational performance, and reliability while supporting first- and last-mile connectivity. The position integrates data analysis, operational requirements, and stakeholder input to refine transit services and optimize service delivery. Responsibilities also include leading public outreach efforts, coordinating with stakeholders, and providing project management support for complex transportation initiatives. The Transportation Planner II works closely with the Senior Transportation Planning Manager, Mobility Manager, internal departments, regional partners, and elected officials to advance mobility, land use, and sustainability goals while independently overseeing day-to-day project activities. **Experience, Education, and Skills:** **Minimum Requirements:** - Bachelor’s degree in a related field - 3+ years of experience in transit and/or transportation planning - Knowledge of current transit planning service practices and processes - Public speaking and/or community engagement experience OR Any combination of related education, experience, certifications and licenses that will result in a candidate successfully performing the essential functions of the job, AND Possession of a valid driver’s license. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Master's degree or certifications in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. - AICP Certification - Knowledge of related transit scheduling, planning, and related software (VIA, Remix, ArcGIS, etc.) and their applications - Experience in assisting with transit planning projects, including supporting budget, timeline, and stakeholder coordination. - Involvement in long-term transportation planning efforts, contributing to…
