CORE DUTIES Assist with initial training and orientation of new team members to develop furniture handling skills, proficiency in using tools, and high-quality customer service. Provide performance improvement suggestions to the transportation supervisory team based on team feedback and observation. Ensure accurate completion of delivery work using delivery tablets. Understand, follow, and ensure compliance with all safe work practices and rules. Ensure that all training and compliance is current and managed with all team members within our safety guidelines. Provide support for the upkeep of delivery equipment. Assist with load outs and recoveries throughout the day. Assign add-ons and ensure deliveries are complete. Assist with routes and complex deliveries. SUCCESS METRICS •96% or better lift scores •Accurate driver coding •Transportation Financial Performance (Percentage of Expense to Sales) •Team engagement (turnover/team member engagement scores) •Safety Compliance •Delivery Calendar and claims conformance •Billing accuracy •Logical and efficient routing **EXPERIENCE** •2 years of experience in delivery, distribution, logistics, and/or facility management with warehousing required •2+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams. **EDUCATION** •High School Diploma is required. •Lift certified **CORE COMPETENCIES** • Must possess strong analytical skills using data and reporting. •Microsoft, Power BI, WMS experience •Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience. •Ability to lead team in company driven processes and procedures. •Experience coaching for improvement **WORK PARAMETERS** •Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required •Driver’s License Required •A satisfactory Criminal Record Check is required •Ability to lift 50-100 lbs. •Ability to work hand trucks, compactors and other warehouse equipment ## Qualifications ### Education #### **Preferred** High School Diploma or better. ### Licenses & Certifications #### **Required** PIV
