### Description *Position at New York City Transit* **Job Information:** | **Title**: Transit Management Analyst Series | **Department**: NYCT - Subways | | --- | --- | | **Authority**: TA | **Division/Unit**: Facilities | | **Work Location**: 2^nd^ Avenue & Houston St | **Hours**: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM | | **Compensation**: | | | Assistant Transit Management Analyst I: | $67,933 - $80,421 | | Assistant Transit Management Analyst II: | $78,874 - $87,847 | | Associate Transit Management Analyst: | $89,162 - $115,445 | | **Deadline (If Applicable)**: | July 22, 2026 | | **Reporting Manager (If Applicable)**: | General Superintendent, Facilities | **Position Summary:** This position supports the Department of Subways, Facilities Division, by providing general administrative and administrative and analytical support for the General Superintendent, Directors, and Supervisors related to Facilities capital projects. The position will perform the following functions: **Responsibilities:** - Provide administrative and technical support for daily operations, inspection activities, and Access and Protection coordination. - Prepare correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and maintain records and documentation. - Coordinate and schedule inspection activities and Access and Protection requests, compile data, and assist with project status updates. - Coordinate with internal departments and C&D to support inspection activities and Access and Protection requirements. - Perform other related duties and special assignments as directed by management. **Desired Skills:** - Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate with personnel at all levels of the organization. - Ability to work and deliver under demanding timelines. - Proficiency in MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio and other data visualization tools (Microsoft Power BI/Tableau). **Education and Experience:** **ASSISTANT TRANSIT MANAGEMENT ANALYST I and II** - A master's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration, public policy, engineering, engineering technology, economics, architecture, mathematics, physics, computer science, finance, accounting, transportation planning, industrial psychology, urban planning/studies, human resources management, labor relations, operations research, security management or in a related area, or - A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience working in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, engineering, in management or methods of analysis, operations research, organization research or program evaluation, personnel or public administration, staff development, employment program planning or administration, security management; or general administration. **ASSOCIATE TRANSIT MANAGEMENT ANALYST** - A master's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration, public policy, engineering, engineering technology, economics, architecture, mathematics, physics, computer science, finance, accounting, transportation planning, industrial psychology, urban planning/studies, human resources management, labor relations, operations research, security management or in a related area, and one year of full‐time satisfactory professional experience working in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, engineering, in management or methods analysis, operations research, organizational research or program evaluation, personnel or public administration, staff development, employment program planning or administration, security management; or general administration; or - A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university; and three years of full-time satisfactory experience as described in "1" above **Selection Method:** B…
