**JOB SUMMARY** The Information Systems (IS) Training & Operations Analyst plays a key role in preparing employees to effectively use campus technology while ensuring secure, accurate, and consistent access to institutional systems. This position supports onboarding, training, and workflow optimization to enhance operational efficiency, and reduces institutional risk. It is essential to maintain a modern, secure, and well-supported campus environment. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. - Deliver and evaluate training on essential systems, tools, and collaboration platforms - Support employees in adopting new technologies. - Coordinate onboarding processes and meet with new employees to perform and arrange training on systems used by KCC. - Document, streamline, and standardize IS processes related to employee transitions and system access. - Identify knowledge gaps and implement training improvements to reduce support tickets and operational delays. - Collaborate with IS teams to ensure processes are consistent, scalable, and aligned with institutional needs. - Develop, maintain, and manage a tool to track system software college-wide, including purchases, locations, and use. **NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** - Other duties as assigned. - If assigned, this position may require administrative work on grant-funded program activities and reporting. **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE** **Required:** - Associate’s degree in information technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, Education, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience - Two (2) years of experience in systems administration support, technical training, or a related operational role **Preferred:** - Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Information Technology, Organizational Development, or a related field - Experience developing and delivering end-user training (in-person and virtual) - Experience with identity and access management (IAM), ticketing systems, and enterprise applications systems (CRM, SIS, O365) - Experience in a higher education or public sector environment **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES NEEDED TO PERFORM THIS ROLE** - Knowledge of enterprise systems, user access management, and onboarding/offboarding workflows - Strong training, facilitation, and communication skills - Ability to analyze processes and implement improvements - Understanding of information security principles and data protection practices - Ability to simplify technical concepts - Familiarity with learning management systems or training development tools **PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS** - Primarily office-based with frequent computer use, including extended periods of sitting, typing, and viewing screens. - Regular delivery of in-person and/or virtual training sessions, requiring clear verbal communication and occasional standing for extended periods. - Frequent interaction with faculty, staff, and cross-functional teams to support onboarding, training, and system access. - Requires the ability to move between campus locations to support employee onboarding, training sessions, and departmental coordination. - May occasionally lift or carry training materials or equipment up to 20 lbs. - Requires sustained attention to detail when managing system access, data entry, and compliance-related tasks. - Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to physical risk. - May require occasional evening or weekend hours to support system updates, training sessions, or peak onboarding periods.
