About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Trainer to join our Clinical Operations Team. We're looking for a Trainer who thrives on the road and in the room — someone who can walk into a new clinic, sit down with pharmacists, technicians, and clinic staff, and turn a brand-new software rollout into a confident, functioning workflow by the time they leave. The Trainer will be responsible for designing the training strategy & approach at House Rx, creating new training content, as well as maintaining and updating existing training materials to reflect current standards and guidelines. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to identify training needs and design comprehensive educational programs to ensure team members excel in their role. What You’ll Do Training Program Strategy: Design and implement a strategic training framework that aligns with organizational goals and addresses the specific needs of clinical staff. Develop a curriculum that incorporates adult learning principles and leverages various instructional methods, including e-learning, workshops, simulations, and on-the-job training. Training Program Development: Develop comprehensive training programs for external team members on specialty pharmacy workflow, including dispensing, patient care, prior authorization and financial assistance processes, communication, technology, and adherence to regulatory requirements. Create engaging training content using various formats (e.g., presentations, e-learning modules, workshops) to cater to different learning styles and ensure effective knowledge transfer. Training Delivery and Facilitation: Provide retraining and coaching sessions for customer clinics identified as needing additional support or improvement. Deliver as-needed training sessions on specific topics related to clinical operations as they arise, ensuring timely response to evolving needs. Content Management and Maintenance: Regularly review and update existing training materials to reflect current industry practices, regulatory changes, and organizational updates. Work closely with subject matter experts to incorporate best practices and latest research findings into training content. Maintain a repository of training resources and ensure accessibility for all team members. Quality Assurance and Evaluation: Implement assessment tools and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs. Gather feedback from trainees and stakeholders to continuously improve training content and delivery methods. Monitor trainee performance and provide feedback to management for performance management purposes. Measure, report, and sign off on competency following initial onboarding training as well as any as-needed trainings or Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Clinical Operations, Quality, and People Ops to align training initiatives with organizational goals and compliance requirements. Collaborate with clinical leaders, supervisors, and subject matter experts to gather insights and data that inform training strategies. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to promote understanding and adoption of training programs. About You Proven experience (5+ years) as a trainer or educator in a healthcare or pharmaceutical setting, with specific experience in specialty pharmacy operations preferred. Strong understanding of pharmacy workflow, clinical guidelines, and regulatory requirements related to specialty pharmacy. Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences. Experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and e-learning tools/platforms. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Certification in training or education (e.g., ATD, CPT) is a plus.
