Traffic Expeditor

The **Traffic Expeditor** will coordinate and track customer inbound and outbound delivery safely, efficiently, and timely. ### Key Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. - Routes outgoing shipments through various means of transportation, following standard procedures. - Oversees equipment availability and helps secure carriers when needed. - Anticipates weather complications along routes and at the driver's destinations; communicates delays and route changes as necessary. - Maintains contact with carriers; receives and dispatches response and emergency aid when needed. - Maintains and reviews billing and operation records; monitors daily logs for errors and or compliance violations. - Tracks customer inbound and outbound shipments online. - Schedules loading and unloading appointments with carriers if needed. - Follow-ups with carriers to ensure timely delivery of the product. - Processes freight claims. - Runs customer compliance and other necessary reports from the database system. - Reviews processes and systems for potential inefficiencies and makes recommendations for improvement. - Performs other duties as assigned by management.
