As a Tool and Die Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in the maintenance, repair, and fabrication of precision tools, dies, and fixtures that support our manufacturing processes. Your expertise will ensure that production equipment operates efficiently and meets quality standards, directly contributing to the success of our manufacturing operations. You will report directly to our Manufacturing Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Freeport, Illinois location on an on-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the reliability and precision of our manufacturing tools and equipment, enabling smooth production flow and supporting the delivery of high-quality products to our customers. ### Responsibilities - Maintain, repair, and modify tools, dies, and fixtures to ensure optimal performance and longevity. - Fabricate and assemble precision tooling components according to engineering specifications. - Collaborate with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve tooling issues. - Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on tooling equipment. - Document maintenance activities and tool modifications accurately. ### Qualifications - Proven experience as a tool and die technician or in a similar role within manufacturing environments. - Strong knowledge of tool and die fabrication, maintenance, and repair techniques. - Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints. - Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments and machining tools. **WE VALUE** - Associate degree or technical certification in Tool and Die Technology or related field. - 5+ years of experience in tool and die maintenance and fabrication. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. - Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in tool maintenance. **ABOUT HONEYWELL** Honeywell International Inc.
