**Job Title: Tool and Die Maker** **Job Summary:** We are looking for a highly skilled Tool and Die Maker with a strong background in injection mold building to join our precision manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience fabricating, maintaining, and repairing tools, dies, and molds used in the production of plastic components. This role requires expertise in machining, mold construction, and technical drawing interpretation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build, repair, and maintain injection molds used in plastic part production. - Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD models, and engineering specifications to fabricate precision tooling. - Operate manual and CNC equipment including mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM machines. - Collaborate with engineering teams to improve mold designs and manufacturability. - Perform changeovers, preventative maintenance, and diagnostics on existing injection molds. - Ensure all work meets quality standards and adheres to safety protocols. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 5 years of experience in tool and die making, with emphasis on injection molding. - Skilled in using hand-fitting techniques to ensure components’ proper assembly and function. - Proficient in operating manual and CNC equipment, including mills, lathes, grinders, and Wire/Sinker EDM machines - Proficient in reading technical drawings and using precision measuring instruments. - Familiarity with the different injection, cooling, and ejection systems common in injection mold designs. - Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. - Experience in TIG and/or precision laser welding is a plus.
