**JOB DESCRIPTION** Job Summary Under the direction of a Tooling Supervisor, the Tool and Die Maker is responsible for repairing dies and making adjustments as needed to run dies in accordance with the customers’ standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Tool and Die Maker must be able to troubleshoot conditions in a production setting - Perform die set operations - Perform preventative maintenance on metal stamping dies - Perform quality checks - Perform other duties as required - Tool and Die Maker must complete all required and applicable training required by Adient and its customers. Qualifications **Required:** - High School diploma or equivalent (GED) - Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in a sheet metal stamping facility or similar experience - Minimum 1-2 years of experience with large transfer and progressive dies - Able to lift 40 lbs. frequently depending upon rework - Standing 8 or more hours, walking to assist in seat build, rework, etc. - Be able to work 2nd shift **Preferred:** - Journeyman Tool and Die Card from the Department of Labor **Rate of Pay**: $37.54 - $39.14 per hour **PRIMARY LOCATION** Battle Creek Seating Component
