Join us and be a part of something special! ## Description Provide direct student support services that assist identified at-risk students in developing the behavioral, organizational, self-management, and academic skills necessary to successfully access classroom instruction. The Student Instructional Support Aide will work collaboratively with administrators, counselors, teachers, intervention staff, and families to support student regulation, improve engagement, increase assignment completion, strengthen attendance and participation, and reduce barriers to academic success. ***Days 183*** ***Position(s) paid with Federal Grand Funds*** ## Requirements **Responsibilities:** - Provide direct student-facing support aligned to the campus focus on student regulation, routines, engagement, and access to instruction - Assist students in successfully returning to instruction following dysregulation, conflict, frustration, avoidance behaviors, disciplinary consequences, or time away from the classroom through reflection, goal-setting, and structured re-entry support - Conduct regular academic check-ins with identified students to review grades, missing assignments, attendance concerns, and progress toward academic goals - Assist students in developing organizational systems, assignment completion plans, time-management strategies, and self-monitoring skills - Monitor and support students identified through campus intervention systems as requiring additional behavioral, academic, or attendance support - Reinforce campus expectations related to classroom readiness, hallway procedures, peer interactions, conflict resolution, self-regulation, and responsible decision-making - Facilitate structured student conferences focused on goal setting, problem solving, accountability, and academic progress - Maintain communication logs and documentation regarding student interventions, supports provided, and student outcomes - Collaborate with teachers to identify barriers preventing students from successfully engaging in instruction and completing assignments - Conduct parent contacts regarding student progress, missing assignments, attendance concerns, intervention plans, and support strategies - Assist in monitoring intervention plans and support systems established by administrators, counselors, MTSS teams, and student support teams - Support implementation of campus initiatives designed to improve student engagement, attendance, academic performance, and school connectedness - Participate in staff development activities related to student behavior, intervention systems, trauma-informed practices, and student engagement - Maintain confidentiality of student information and comply with FERPA requirements - Be a positive role model for students and support the mission and goals of the campus and district - Perform other duties as assigned by the principal **Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:** - **Tools/Equipment Used:** Standard office equipment including computer and peripherals; standard instructional equipment - **Posture**: Moderate standing; occasional kneeling, squatting, bending, and stooping - **Motion:** Frequent walking throughout the cam…
