**Summary** This position is responsible for supporting game day Box Office operations including distribution and/or sales of sporting and special event tickets for Army West Point Athletic Association Inc. (“AWPAA”). **Scope of Impact** This position will interact with the general public regarding ticket sales. **Level of Decision Making** This position will have a low level of decision-making responsibilities. It is required for all Ticket Sellers to adhere to department policy and NCAA guidelines as they pertain to the distribution of complimentary tickets for recruitable-aged athletes and player-guests. **Success Factors** Success in this position will be evaluated by the Supervisor on the employee’s performance in a variety of areas, including but not limited to: Commitment to AWPAA Mission, Vision and Values; and supporting the AWPAA Strategic Plan and Priority Results. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** **90% Box Office** - Transacting ticket sales (cash, credit) and distributing complimentary tickets to various approved groups out of the Box Office. - Providing customer service and assistance (as it relates to ticketing) to donors and fans on game day from the time they arrive at the game to the time the box office closes. **10% Other Duties as Assigned.** - Other duties as assigned by the Director of Ticket and Business Ops. This may include assisting the Army A Club with various events such as Loge entry for football and the set up and execution of Rink side and Courtside premium areas for hockey and basketball. - This may also include assisting customers and/or handicapped patrons with location of assigned seats within the arena. **Supervisory Responsibilities** This position does not have any Supervisory Responsibilities. **Work Conditions & Physical Requirements** Perform duties in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment. - Must be able to transition from standing to sitting and vice versa (sitting to standing) for various amounts of time depending on game length and duties assigned. - The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. - May be required to operate a computer and Boca printer for point-of-sale purchases on game days via the Paciolan ticketing system. Training is provided. - The person in this position consistently communicates face to face with the general public as well as Ticket Office and A-Club team members, but less frequently with United States Military Academy (“USMA”) staff and vendors. - Very limited occasions to works in outdoor weather conditions. - Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. - Must be able to work in very noisy and extremely busy conditions at times. **Travel** This position does not require any travel. **Required Qualifications** - High School Diploma or Equivalent - Ability to work directly with the general public handling basic financial transactions and performing basic office functions. **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience operating computers and processing transactions - Customer service experience. **Additional Eligibility Requirements** - Must be eligible to work in the United States of America, without sponsorship. - Must be eligible to work on a military installation, including a willingness to submit to a background screen. - Must possess a valid driver’s license. **Pay Range** $15.50 per hour **About Us** USMA is renowned as the world’s preeminent leadership development institution.
