Under the supervision of the Music Department Chairperson, to provide musical and rhythmic accompaniment for jazz vocal classes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Practices music selected by the students and instructor. Deep knowledge of jazz piano, polished Skills and Abilities. Requires several years of study in the jazz piano discipline performed and minimum 3 years of professional level experience. Must have expert knowledge of musical phrasing and musicianship and be knowledgeable in music terminally. Preferred: Have a willingness to learn how to implement our core tenets Taking Risks, Embracing Failure and Celebrating Differences into the curriculum and everyday practice.
