The Test Technician conducts design verification and reliability testing in support of new product development and continuous improvement. ### Responsibilities **What Will You Do?** - Testing to verify product performance, system integration, and compliance with applicable standards. - Conduct tests on products, components, and systems according to established test procedures and protocols. - Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate busway system performance and reliability. - Record test data accurately and meticulously, ensuring completeness and reliability. - Document test procedures, results, and observations in written reports or electronic formats. - Document test results in a way that conforms to company standards - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the test area and equipment. - Follows all safety rules and regulations; utilizes personal protective equipment. Maintains assigned work area(s) in a clean, organized, and safe condition at all times. - Assist with 3D printing operations, including printer setup, cleaning, preventive maintenance, and stocking consumables. - Perform non-precision part modifications and basic fabrication using manual shop equipment (drill press, grinders, hand tools) to support engineering changes, fit-up, and prototyping needs. - Load and unload transport trucks in support of testing needs. - Support testing at external laboratories. Includes remote work location averaging one-week durations spread throughout the year. - Ensures that the test equipment and instruments are functioning properly and in calibration prior to performing any tests. - Assists with maintaining test equipment. This includes cleaning the equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and repair maintenance as required. - Support facility maintenance as occasional needs arise. - Perform additional duties as deemed necessary to support the overall goals of the organization. ### Qualifications **Education:** - High school diploma or equivalent - Associate degree preferred **Experience:** - No prior experience required.
